Lumi says: I'm Lumi. I point out what the sky is doing today, and I grow as you keep your practice.

From a sentence to a sky

  1. Write it down

Type a dream, a vision or a thought from the day, or, in a browser that supports speech input, speak it as a voice note. Write as much or as little as you like.

  2. See it drawn

Each paragraph is turned into its own picture by an AI image model. Choose a framed storyboard and a vision with steps (“on a boat, then a magic carpet, then the desert”) becomes a strip of up to eight numbered frames, each with the words it came from. Any picture can be swapped for one of your own.

  3. Read it against the sky

Open the day and the journal sets it beside your birth details: the chart you were born under, where the planets are now, the Moon, your numbers. They are there to reflect on, not to predict anything.

What it reads your day against

The readings that are personal to you are calculated from the birth date, time and place you enter. They are a mirror to reflect in, not a forecast.

  • Natal chart

A full wheel drawn from your birth date, time and place, with houses, aspects and a read of its balance. Tap a planet for its detail, and save the chart as a picture.

  • Today’s Stars

Today’s planets laid over your own houses: which transits are exact, whether the sky flows or pushes back, and a seven-day outlook.

  • The Moon

Tonight’s phase, what it asks of you, and journal prompts chosen for the phase you are in.

  • Numerology

Universal and personal day numbers, a calendar of them for the month, and the life path and star sign behind them.

  • Chinese calendar

The sexagenary calendar: today’s day pillar and the month’s animal read against the animal and element of your birth year, with the hours of today that suit you and a look at tomorrow.

  • Biorhythm

Your physical, emotional, intellectual and intuitive cycles, today and the two weeks either side.

  • Day summary

A score from 0 to 100 for the day, built from four things: the sky, your numbers, your biorhythm and the Chinese day. It says what the day suits and what to watch, and shows the week ahead.

  • Patterns

Your own entries, measured: when you write, by weekday and hour, the last nine weeks day by day, your streaks, and words per entry over time. It is built from nothing but what you wrote.

Keep a practice

Something to come back to each night, if you want it.

Light a star

Start a focused writing session of 10, 15, 30 or 45 minutes, or open a vigil with no set end. Stay and write, and a star joins your night sky when the timer ends. Leave the app for more than a minute and it fades. Every session you keep earns crystals, and the named crystals below wake as you collect them.

  • ExceptionalOpens with a vigil past 45 minutes

Tend a vision board

Name what you want, write each intention in the present tense with up to three first moves, and the board is drawn from your words. Tiles brighten as you take the moves, and gain a gold ring once you have tended one seven times.

Meditate with Lumi

Play your own meditation audio from inside the journal. The files stay on your device and play offline. Lumi grows through the week as you keep your practice, and starts again each Monday, so a quiet week costs you nothing.

Before you start

Why does the trial need a card?

The trial is a Gumroad subscription, and Gumroad takes the card when it starts. Nothing is charged for 7 days. When they end your card is charged US$12. Cancel before then and you pay nothing. Sales tax or VAT may be added, depending on where you live.

How do I cancel?

Through Gumroad, with the link in your receipt email. Cancelling stops the next payment, and you keep full use of the journal until the end of the period you have already paid for.

What happens to my journal if I stop?

It stays. After your membership ends you can still sign in and read every entry and picture. To add new entries or make new pictures, subscribe again.

What if I use all 120 pictures?

The journal stops making new pictures until the allowance starts again the next month. You can still write, read your journal, and add pictures of your own.

Do the readings predict anything?

No. Chart positions are calculated from your birth date, time and place, but what they mean is for you to decide. Treat them as prompts for reflection, not as predictions or advice.

Who can read what I write?

Every entry belongs to your account, and no other account can read, change or delete it. The pictures are made by outside services. The ones that describe each scene receive the text being illustrated (for a storyboard, every step of that entry), and the ones that draw it receive a description based closely on your words. The privacy policy names each one.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. It runs in the browser on a phone or a computer, and you can add it to your home screen like an app. Typing works everywhere; voice notes need a browser that supports speech input, such as Chrome.
